Will T722 work with my laptop and desktop setup?
Yes. T722 is designed for hybrid workstations with one USB-C laptop and one HDMI/DisplayPort computer.
PC 1 connects through USB-C, supporting video, USB data, and power delivery.
PC 2 connects through HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-B for video and USB control.
You can share two HDMI monitors, one keyboard and mouse, USB peripherals, audio devices, and a Gigabit Ethernet connection between both computers.
Can I connect my USB-C laptop with only one cable?
For compatible Windows laptops, yes.
When using MST mode, connect your laptop to the T722 USB-C port labeled "MST + USB" with one USB-C cable. This single connection supports video output and USB data.
For macOS devices, dual-monitor operation requires SST mode with two USB-C connections.
Can I display two different computers on two monitors at the same time?
Yes. T722 supports mixed display mode, allowing each monitor to show content from a different computer simultaneously.
For example:
- Monitor A → Work laptop
- Monitor B → Desktop PC
You can also switch keyboard, mouse, USB, and audio focus between computers.
Does T722 support MacBook?
Yes, but with limitations.
macOS does not support MST. For Mac systems, T722 supports SST mode, which requires two USB-C connections for dual-monitor operation.
The final display capability depends on whether your Mac can provide independent display outputs.
Will switching between computers move my windows or reset my display layout?
T722 includes a Virtual Display / Ghost function designed to reduce window rearrangement and display re-detection when switching between computers.
If your desktop layout changes after switching, enable the Ghost function using the front button or keyboard shortcut.
How much charging power does T722 provide?
The PC 1 full-featured USB-C input supports up to 100W Power Delivery charging.
This allows compatible USB-C laptops to receive power while connected to T722.
Can I share my keyboard, mouse, USB devices, and Ethernet connection?
Yes. T722 allows both computers to share:
- Keyboard and mouse
- USB peripherals
- 3.5mm audio devices
- Gigabit Ethernet connection
